UK subscriptions

Hi all,

This is my first time on the forums. I'm a UK comic book reader who currently has a subscription with a local comic book store. I've looked at DCB prices and they blow away anything over here so I'm thinking of making the switch. Does anyone know how good their service is to the UK?

Their service is really good and pretty quick but to be honest the postage cost is something you have to watch out for.

I started my time with them buying a number of their discounted hardcovers and the like but when the postage costs were factored in they were not too far away from getting them from FPI subscription (particularly when the time of payment is taken into account!).

I now use a combination of FPI and DCBS - there's a wider selection at DCBS but for my mainstream stuff I go with Planet.
