Don't read anything into my words, bitchy-poo. I'm just sayin' anyone who knows SWV immediately identifies them with that tune. I wasn't reading anything into your words, but others might. Just trying to clarify things.

Tom, Chris, Sal and Skottie - you guys were the first podcast I started listening too - you guys brought me back to comics. I'm sad to hear you're not doing AC anymore, hope Tom vs Flash continues and moves to something else when that's done (Tom vs Green Lantern Teen Titans??) Chris I look forward to hearing you on 11Oclock and maybe you could convince Sal and Skottie to make the odd guest apperance. Anyway thanks for years of great listening...

Something Weird Video? Never heard of them. Checking out their website though. Looks good.
Sorry that the old theme drove you mad, glad that selecting other music kept you sane. I was merely making a request. Like a lot of other people who listened, I associate that tune with the show and thought it might be nice to bring it back for the final episode. For me, it's the sound of Around Comics.

I may bring back the original intro song.
Hell, I may do a montage of a few different theme songs we've used.

Can Vince and David be on the last Around Comics, crying "Not like this"? That would be awesome.

Or, you could take revenge for all those mean comments about your picks and get real crazy on the last one! I don't know, like, CHRIS SINGING WU-TANG CLAN SONGS. R-U-C-C-K-A-MAN*! * (I know it's spelled wrong, but it would sound as great without the extra "C").

Of course, you'd need to be a bit drunk at the time. Think you can pull that off?

Wouldn't be on the 11 o'clock bandwagon without AC!
~Double post from the AC boards~
Well, I have one less cool podcast to look forward to now, but I am a big fan of "All good things must come to an end." You guys got me back into comics, turned me onto the world of podcasts and gave me the ability to go out and create my own podcast. Trying not to be hyperbolic here, but you changed my life. Thanks for keeping me company while slaving away at the post office and painting my house. I will always cherish these last few years.

AC has become part of my "trinity" of podcasts (iFanboy and this being the other two), and I will miss it. No more Sal Abanatty stories about Grant Morrison crapping his pants while on acid! This was a great show and helped me love comics even more.
Chris, heard you on your new project today. Great interview with the GI Joe: Cobra crew! Can't wait to hear more.

AC was my first podcast - honest to <insert deity here>. It got me through many a late night at my old gig. I really, really miss the old days of Skottie, Chris, Brion, and Tom. Truly the most entertaining comic pontificating team in the history of the world.
I'll miss it. A lot.
But hey, Chris, I guess we know who carried that mother huh? Katers leaves, it falls apart, and you start fucking curling. Haha, just playing man. So long AC, truly a legendary podcast.

If you want more Sal/shit stories, there are plenty of them on Comic Geek Speak. He's been on that show probably close to a dozen times and there are always some good poop stories. AC will be missed.

When they announced that they wouldn't be doing AC anymore and that Tom was leaving, I was sad, but it kinda made sense at the same time. No Tom, no Sal, no Skottie even. Maybe it was the right time to put AC to bed.
But after listening to these last couple of episodes, they really could keep the podcast going with this new group. They were great! John's always interesting when he pops on, but Jenny Frison and Kyle Byce had lots of interesting stuff to say too. Chris, you should keep the podcast alive with this group!
