I thought it was great. A definite step up from the previous arc.

man, i just didn't like it at all. not that i want to read the same thing over and over, but i want my batman books to be fighting crime, batman interacting with the other characters in an interesting way, doing batman stuff. this just didn't do it for me at all. and the last arc was painful, so at this point i haven't dug it since august.

Didn't this issue have this? I don't know, I really enjoyed the issue. A cool mystery going on, Squire, beautiful artwork and a exciting cliff hanger - I just thought this was a solid comic. Stewart's artwork was just awesome. The scene involving Batman leaping through traffic was so well crafted. One question to those who read it though? Was there a printing error in this issue? Anybody notice that? Also, really enjoyed Daredevil this week. Matt is up to some insane stuff. Insane!

Yeah, I had the same reaction for a second. I had to stop and think, "Is this Morrison doing something, or is this straight up error." I'm guessing error.

Kick-Ass #8 Batman And Robin #7 Loved it. Wasn't particularly bothered about Philip Tan's 3 issues but Cameron Stewart's work was fantastic - the opening chase scene reminiscent of the opening scene of #1, and the prison scene oozed a sense of impending dread whilst riffing on DC Universe #0 as well as cockney rhyming slang for balls .(just edited this to change the reference from Killing Joke) I can't be the only person who'd love to see a mini-series/OGN of Morrison's Knight And Squire taking on London super-powered underworld based on the dialog in this scene. Nice to see Batwoman turn up. Cracking dialog: "I don't believe in prophecies of doom. If anything goes wrong here it's my responsibility" is an amazing line looking at it from Grant Morrison's position in comics and the extreme reactions he appears to engender on the internets. One tiny gripe: The Pearly King's dialog was written in American English - honor rather than British English - honour. Would have been a very nice blink it and you miss it demonstration of the comic medium's possibilities.

Fantastic Four 575 really is back to being awesome. It's so strange how quickly this book can flip from great to bad to great again.

Yea, it's gotta be an error. Just for one panel, but it was confusing.

hello,
I broke my wrist this week so my readings been a little light.
Captain America reborn #6: It was nce to see an ending to this story but am i the only one that finds it hard to buy that bucky was that accepting that steve was back so quick? "Hes kicking my ass, he's kicking my ass...ok he's not kicking my ass its gotta be Cap"
Fantastic Four 575: I liked this.
Xforce 23: Looked amazing as always. Good read
Xmen Legacy 232: Is it wrong that I like magneto more as a good guy then a bad guy?
On a side note im starting to get tired of the necrosha story line only 1 more month.
Walking Dead 69: I would of happily paid any price for this issue. Even the bonus feature in the back was good.
Red Hulk 1: Like always Hulk was a fun read by itself as long as you dont think about it.
Thor 606: So doom builds a set of armor that can beat up gods as long as the fight lasts 20 seconds? I expected this fight to last longer then it did.

I see what you mean though. That last couple of issues on Fantastic Four would have been way better if Dale Eaglesham was drawing it.

Comic Vine: Where does Thunderbolt Ross' mustache go when he turns into Red Hulk? Will your Hulk ever have a mustache?
Mark Waid: Thunderbolt’s mustache goes into the Negative Zone, where it enjoys its own separate adventures that will hopefully someday be told. Our Hulk needs no mustache. Muttonchops, perhaps.

Don't look too quick, but... Spooky is behind you right now. Maybe I'm a broken record with this point, but, hey... the horse ain't really dead if people keep on riding it every day, is it?

Speaking of Chew, how is it doing? I picked up #1 but it became too difficult to find. Will have to pick up the trade. Story still holding its own? Trade worth it?

Don't worry, I hired this guy for security. That poor horse though. We just keep hitting it and hitting it. One of these days we're gonna get bucked off.
