That's right, I wrote "Man-Things" because there are two pics of the swamp monster below. Smiley

I thought I'd share a few recent sketch card commissions. I'm always available for this sort of thing so if anybody is interested, please let me know. I enjoy doing commissions, on sketch cards or at larger sizes, and there's no comic book character I enjoy drawing more than Man-Thing.

Please let me know what you think...

Jim

Thanks, guys! I appreciate the enthusiastic feedback.

Jeppe, that's the first time I've drawn Howard the Duck in many, many years. It was fun. It makes me want to do more. Smiley

Great work, Jim.

If I had a gun to my head, I'd take the black-n-white Man-Thing over the color version.  That said, I love 'em both.

Thank you. I actually prefer the black and white version too. I kept the line on the color version to a minimum, intending to make the watercolor do the work but in retrospect, I wish I had inked it more like the B&W version. I think it would have made the piece stronger, even with color.

I love both versions, but actually prefer the color piece... both have that great Mike Ploog "feel" to them, but (for me) the color version carries it more... but we're just quibbling, really both (and the Howard the Duck) are just excellent...
