I enjoyed the first one. I'm waiting until this one finishes before I start reading it. I'm going to bind all my Spidey "Elseworlds"-type minis and you can borrow it, if you want.
I would take you up on that. I'm not the sort of person who "borrows" things forever, either.

Chew #9 This just keeps on rockin. First Wave #1 (OF 6) Unlike the great podcasters here at 11OC, I absolutely loved Batman/Doc Savage. I gave it an 110Closcar for best one-shot. High hopes for this entire universe. It has the potential to be something real special. Justice League Cry For Justice #7 (OF 7) I also have not been hating this as much as most seem to. I really like Robinson's style and ideas. Sure, it's not perfect, but the whole thing has been a 4/5 with each issue escalating in goodness. Sweet Tooth #7 My monthly fix of emotional gut punch.

Adventure Comics 8 Chew 9 Detective Comics 862 First Wave 1 (I'm more than cautiously optimistic on this one; don't let me down. ) Forgetless 3 JL Cry for Justice 7 (Agree with Rusty; bad start, pretty solid middle, I'm hoping for a big finish.) Kevin Smith's Green Hornet 1 Sweet Tooth 7 Tezuka's MW (I'm the only person on iFanboy who's pulled this... has everyone else already read it?) And finally, for my son's birthday, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventure #6. Yes, really. I'll talk more about this whenever I have time later, but anyone who doesn't already have Mesmo Delivery should pick it up first thing on their next trip to the shop. Holy crap was that pitch perfect comics. Motherf'in' Karma, Dave. As soon as I finished it, I went right back to the beginning and read it again. Dark, exhilarating, graphic, spectacular comic-booking.

LCS: Amazing Spider-Man #623 Chew #9 Cinderella: From Fabletown With Love #5 Invincible Iron Man #24 Jack of Fables #43
also hoping to pick up the last 2 issues of Clone Saga, since I'm going to be in the vicinity of a couple shops this week. I never bothered to put in on my pull list, and my regular local was sold out by the time I got there both weeks.

My god, are you in for a treat. I can't wait to read it. This is what I love about being new to comics, experiencing all these legendary artists work for the first time. Just the other month I purchased my first piece of Moebius work, Arzach, it's sad to see that alot of his work is out of print, or only available in other languages.

Karma for the Moebius love. One of the things I'm happiest about in my comic collecting is that I jumped on the Moebius graphic novels when Epic put them out back in the 80s. Of course, one of the things I want to kick myself for is that I ignored his Blueberry westerns at the same time.

Comic Vine: Where does Thunderbolt Ross' mustache go when he turns into Red Hulk? Will your Hulk ever have a mustache?
Mark Waid: Thunderbolt’s mustache goes into the Negative Zone, where it enjoys its own separate adventures that will hopefully someday be told. Our Hulk needs no mustache. Muttonchops, perhaps.

I've been wanting to read his Blueberry work as well, they do sell them on Amazon, but only in German.

I've been wanting to read his Blueberry work as well, they do sell them on Amazon, but only in German. The Blueberry stuff is technically not Moebius, but the artist's original identity, Jean Giraud. Yeah, I know it's splitting hairs a bit, but the styles of the two are definitely not the same (or even all that similar, now that I think about it...). It's almost as if the stuff was indeed produced by two separate individuals. Shows you Giraud's disgusting skill that he houses enough talent for not one but two world-class artists. I love him and hate him at the same time.

Thanks for clarifying that Vince.
