I'm sick of everyone he comes across getting to punch, kick, slap, insult or spit on him with no retaliation. Do you really think Batman would take crap like this? Hell no, and since Tony Stark is essential the Bruce Wayne of the MU, why should he?
Oh I'm all in favor of him retaliating.  I think being yelled at for things that he doesn't even recall would provoke more extreme retaliation.  That's what I want to see.  Tony Stark moving forward in a world that he doesn't fully understand anymore.  I think it would be interesting to have Tony be able to re-evaluate his decisions with hindsight and distanced from the original emotions that were driving his decisions.  It could be a powerful bit of self reflection.  He shouldn't take any crap from anyone, but that doesn't mean I don't want other people to still hold him accountable for his previous actions.

Thank you Grant Morrison. The boycott is lifted.
