I love the Forever People to death, but when they show Superboy their Motherbox I expected him to whip out his own device and be, like, "yeah, I got a phone, too".
Also, how can they not tell the difference b/t New Genesis and Apokolips technology? Wouldn't they know that?

I've watched the first few episodes and it's pretty fun. I like how it doesn't feel like anything I've read although that might be because I just haven't read that much DC.

I loved the sit down stuff with Black Canary. I could have had a whole episode of just that. I feel like this show is showing some real depth and maturity -- which is awesome. Robin coming to the realization that he doesn't want to be Batman felt surprisingly poignant.

Okay, after all the complimentary talk about this show, I'm on board....just watched a re-run where Zatana meets the gang, which was timely before the new episode ('secret' said ala 'I see dead people'). Very neat show. |
