...it can be a single issue, a trade, a hardcover, a pre-bagged mini-series... ONE item. Your family and pets and computers are already safe.
What comic do you save?

Wow, tough call. I lost everything in a house fire in 1993, including my comics, but I had quit reading in 1989. I’ve been rebuilding the collection since 1994. I would have to say my leather bound Complete Frank Miller Batman. It contains two of my favorite stories ever, and I don’t think you can find that particular packaging many places these days. My Amazing Omnibus would be a close second, but I am pretty sure I could easily replace it if need be.

Just one would be Miracleman 15. Although since it is in a box with the rest of my Miracleman run, I would probably just grab all of them. Hey you aren't going to set fire to my house and sit outside and wait for me are you?

Well if it it is only one issue....
I know this may sound a bit off.... But I may grab my copy of Avengers Annual 10. At least I wouldn't be able to read it all before the fire deptartment showed up. Plus orginal evil Rogue, Spider-Woman and Ms Marvel. Pretty awesome issue.
But I doublt that I would grab only one issue. I could see me grabing a long box and running back in for a few more. I don't think I would give my comics up without a fight.
I might grab my copy of LSH #294. That issue was pretty awesome as well.

I think I may go fire proof my house now..

If I could ever find a copy of Fear Agent #1 (Dark Horse) with the cover by JACK DAVIS, I would make that my pick. That is a sweet cover to an awesome issues. It is the only Varient cover I have wanted outside of Herb Trimpe Savage Dargon cover from SD #156.

Oh, damn. Sorry if I'm bringing back unhappy memories. Good choice, though! Just one would be Miracleman 15. Although since it is in a box with the rest of my Miracleman run, I would probably just grab all of them. Hey you aren't going to set fire to my house and sit outside and wait for me are you? ...answer carefully. There will be a "pop" quiz.

I would probably grab my ASM omnibus. Over 1000 pages of Ditko and others classic goodness.
I can also use it as a weapon if the apocalypse is upon us at this time as well...

Extra points for practical thinking.

My copy of The Brave and the Bold #28 - it's the one I have the most sentimental attachment to. (I mowed a lot of lawns when I was 11 to be able to afford that fucker.)

TOUGH call...it would be devastating to me, both financially and emotionally. I guess my copy of Giant Sized X-Men #1. Not my most valuable issue when I bought it, but probably the one I would miss the most and have the hardest time ponying up for now in this crazy inflated market for high grade X-issues.
