If I had Iron Man vol 1 #1 my answer would probably be different Thinking Or ASM #1 or Hulk 181or Giant sized Xmen #1.......... but I don't Cry Cheesy
I think your choice was definitely good.  And besides my early Iron man issues, I don't have any early comics.

My autographed issue of Alpha Flight #1.  It's been with me since 1982. It's not my favorite comic or my most valuable but it takes me back to a simpler time in my life.

It's a comfort comic.

My copy of Gotham Central #1 signed by Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark. My favorite comic series of all time signed by my favorite writer.

It would have to be my Incredible Hulk #181, simply because it's my most valuable comic.  However, here in a couple months I'd be grabbing my Absolute All-Star Superman.
