I keep meaning to PM you to ask what you thought. Now I don't have to.
I will rectify. It is pretty.

Twitter mania = Twitter mania. Witness the reaction Tony Harris and Erik Larsen have gotten. Neither of those guys are old.
They're both Twitter addicts, to be sure, but do either of them call people "Dolt" or other insulting names? Conway's acting like a child.

I liked how Second Coming is shown to be taking place in the Marvel Universe. That made me happier than Spider-man swinging by in Fantastic Four. It just made so much sense.
Nice Fringe love! The second season of that show is pretty good. It starts strong and only has a lull in the middle of the season I found as it gets too much into X-files territory but then it ramps up again and the season finale was all kinds of crazy cool. Walter is like my favourite crazy character on that show. The show’s always been much stronger when it gets into the science and character stuff than the X-files like scenarios.
The first issue of Captain America: Reborn even had the traditional whole page face close up that I’ve seen Millar use a lot. I couldn’t drop Cap it’s been good to me and with the latest issue going back into the great category. Brubaker on twitter seems jazzed about the next few stories too. The Marvel Project is good stuff but I can see why everyone wouldn’t take to it. An Invaders series by Brubaker is still on my wish list of things I’d read.
Reed Richards does spy on people so maybe he has files or a diary. Dear Diary, spied on Sandman last night and read his thoughts. He’s still a good guy….for now. I remember a John Byrne written issue of Spider-man where he made it seem like Reed never believed that Sandman ever really turned into a good guy so he spied on him for years until he turned into a villain again just so he could say he was right. Personally that’s too creepy a Reed for me, I rather think of him being too busy with technology and discovering new things to have time for that.

"So pretty, I could lick the panel" - Vince B. Ultimate X is so good. Each issue stands strong on its on. #3 is a pretty strong contender for one of my favorite single issues so far this year. I Art Adams.

So I simply finished off my part of the conversation with:
@gerryconway it's refreshing to know you're a man of composure willing to have a dialog. Can you figure everyone out in 140 characters?

Conway's acting like a child.
That's the part I had a problem with. I've had several conversations with Conway over the years, mainly via his now defunct blog and he's always come off as a decent guy to me. I may not agree with Conway in this case, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. When you call someone a name because they don't have the same opinion as you, well, that's just childish. I guess I expect better command of the language from a writer.

He was whippin' out some pretty left-wing politicos there, and we lefties tend to get pretty irate when we think we're arguing with the Right Winger of Our Dreams. But I don't think Conway knows Wood from a hole in the wall, so not only was Wood's response apt, Conway played himself as a kneejerk liberal. Not his finest hour. Who knows, maybe he was drunk.

Indeed. The second season was killer. I love the show FRINGE, but to be honest I've always felt that Anna Torv was the weakest link in the show. She started growing on me a bit by the end of the second season, but I don't think I'd lose any sleep if they replaced her with another character and continued on with everything else.

I'm an anomaly - a 39 year old comics reader who only started reading Spider-Man in the past couple of years. Having nothing to compare it to other than general knowledge of Spider-Man and memories from when I was 14, I've enjoyed 95% of Amazing.
