But is the beer itself any good?
Too often the effort is in marketing the bottle and the contents are found lacking (I am looking at you Dan Akroyd adn your crystal skull vodka)
I may be able to tell you tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Arrogant Bastard is outstanding. Everything I've had from Stone Brewing would be recommended.

Ah that explains it. Prince of Persia is a video game based movie. You went to see it. Jonah Hex is a comic book based movie. I went to see it. 'Nuff said. lol. All good. But to your other points, I totally saw the trailer and thought "oh boy". But I don't let box office or critics sway me. I may have walked out of there going - well, I won't get those $7 bucks back - but I saw a movie in the theatre by myself. That was all worth it. But see? Like you pointed out to me on twitter - you know there's going to be a Prince of Persia 2. And you gave them fodder for it. Peter I don't pay for movies. I only go to free screenings. I'm pretty vocal about it. I don't give the studios anything other than good or bad comments. No matter the origins a film has to work. And I can tell that that film wasn't going to work. I don't let Box office take influence my opinion because I usually see a movie or film 3 days before, a week before, two weeks or even a month before it comes out. All a Box Office take does is usually prove my over/under. I listen to critics who tastes I respect, just like I listen to comic podcasts of hosts I respect. And some latley I just talk to, real talk on street after seeing usually some hot garbage this year. See I can't go for the I won't get those $7 back, those are important dollars. I can eat well for 7 bucks. And now for me after seeing movies for free hardcore for 3 years why should I give hollywood money I let them pay for me. i know there is going to a be a Prince of Persia 2 cause it is doing insanely well Internationally Peter. That's how I know. I ain't got time to see movies that look bad at the trailer stage if I don't have love for nothing it. I have art house films I could be seeing.

The porter is good. It's been a while since I had the IPA, maybe I'm misremembering it. P.S. How do folks ship beers to you guys? Is it kosher?

My problem with Julian's guest spot was that his mic could do with an upgrade, same with some of the other guests...
Yeah I'm not podcast ready. I was using my jawbone on my mac. Maybe one day after I get my mac fixed I can get a better mic for just appearing on shows and such.

one day I'm gonna have to listen to this ifanboy... Ha! I thought I was the only one that hadn't. I didn't hear about them until that first SDCC podcast panel, and by then the podcast dance card was just way too full.

It was only briefly mentioned in the episode, but....
I was able to catch up with 28 Days Later using the comixology app and Chris is right, it is real freaking good. I did think it started out a bit weak, but the story definitely ramped up after that first arc. They dialed back the Selina character’s “This is not a game!” routine and they added in some interesting twists with the military. It definitely has me interested in keeping up with the series.
I think what really draws me in to each issue though is the art. If the art wasn’t as good as it is, I probably would have never made it past that first arc. Declan Shalvey’s art though is very much like one of my favorite artists, Michael Lark, and it really pulled me into each issue. Even more of a surprise though was the fill in artist for issue #9, Leonardo Manco. His art meshes perfectly with Shalvey’s but yet is a totally different style. It’s really is like if Michael Lark was doing the book with Alex Maleev filling in. Boom really lucked out getting these 2 guys working on their comics.
declan left after 14, he said today to chris on twitter if someone didnt tell you already
