My web comic, Shock Watson(www.shockwatson.com) is going pretty well. I've produced a page per week as planned and am now wrapping up my long-form story which will set the stage for a twice-a-week strip. I'm in talks with an Android developer to get Shock listed in their app. The other part of this plan is a .cbr I will produce. I'm going through the old pages and redrawing a few panels as well as working on color corrections that need to be made. I will also write an introduction and do some "director's commentary" sorts of write up throughout the book. I plan to release it to the wilds of the torrent world and hope some people enjoy it. I'm releasing it under a Creative Commons license so that others can remix it and share it so long as no profit is made on it. I'm very proud of this project.

This would not be possible without the people on the 11 o'clock Forum and, especially, the artists of The Drawing Board. I haven't posted much lately because life and the web comic are keeping me very busy. Still, I do check in here and follow several strips and am constantly awed at the work here. I'd love it if anyone would be willing to contribute a sketch for a gallery I'd like to put in the cbr file. If you'd like to be in on it, PM me. You can sketch Shock Watson, Jack Watts, his wife Sadie or any of the other incidentals that appear in the story. I would need the file to be a 9"x12" jpeg at 150 dpi and you should definitely list your name, web comic and URL on the piece. I plan to get this put together and distributed near the end of August.

Seriously, thanks for all of the inspiration, kind words and wonderful talent you display every day!

Thanks for the offers. I won't be putting this together until early August or so. If you could get it to me in the next 2 or 3 weeks, that would be great.

So it certainly wasn't that weekend, but I'm sending you the sketch now.  Thumbs Up

Anyone can see the sketch early on my process blog the Comic Curve.

I seriously love your rendition of Shock! There's a Kirby-esque edge to it and that's amazing.
