The episode should be available later today or early tomorrow.  Everything's in place, I just have to polish it up a bit and encode it.  Last night I fell asleep while putting the pieces in place, so if I can get to it on my break today at work we should be all set.

EDIT: The episode is available!

Our host is running on autopilot, so thankfully Pat, Backwards Dave, Steve, and Adam pitch in with New Releases, Bring 'em Back, Tales From the Comics Bunker, and Marvel Unbound respectively! And we hear from bridegroom Carlos! Not once, but twice!!

Comics mentioned include Amazing Spider-Man, Secret Invastion: Thor, Secret Invasion: X-Men, Secret Invasion: Inhumans, Punisher, X-Men Origins: Jean Grey, Astonishing X-Men, and GeNext.

Get it here.

Nice, thanks for the update, and have a great day! Looks like a beauty outside here upstate, and I've got two therapy sessions scheduled for today on playgrounds Smiley

The sympathy card? REALLY? What are we paying you for, Price?  Shifty Eyes
After checking with my bookkeeper, I find we're not paying you at all! SO, you know, take your time!

Pat picked a Millar\Hitch issue of FF as a "pick of the week"?  Wow, either he wasn't taking his meds or maybe the book has taken a complete 180 turn in quality...

Pat is bringing the love!  The David A Price-starved love that we all need so, so desperately!

Personal Gripe session:  the bridge music from the Adam Woodall Group (right before Steve Raker's segment) is driving me apeshit.  Not because I don't like the music, much the opposite, after hearing the music from one of David's previous episodes, I ordered their album "Silver Ring" from their website at www.adamwoodallband.com, and I still haven't received it yet  One Finger.  Even though I paid them via Paypal on November 29, 2007Bangs Head

I've attempted to contact them via email and through their site several times, but have been ignored on all counts.  Any suggestions?

End rant...

Oh, shit, I didn't know you didn't receive it.

Can you dispute it with PayPal?  Maybe leave a comment on their MySpace page?

Damn, this sucks....

Debunked in the Bunker

....as I was looking for cover art for the Silver Surfer book, I discovered that 'Parable' has been traded, both in HC and SC... oops!  Shocked ...but it's no longer in print.  No So what I keep hearing mumbling about must be for a new collection, as it appears it's been awhile.  Forsooth!

My second gaff is that I neglected to tie together what I mentioned about Stan touching on TV evangelism and the rise of 'militant islamo-facism'.  I wasnt mearly solidifying my position as this boards' resident right-winger, but it seemed that Stan was presenting a continuim, perhaps mythologizing the televangelists being cut down to size in this country as a turning point in avoiding travelling down the road to the potential extremes manifested (both then and now) in the Middle East.  The Surfer tried suggesting caution, then appealing to reason, and finally using might (and catlike swiftness) to expose the threat to the masses.  Next time I'll use notes Whistle

Damn, this sucks....

CRAP!  I just sent another message to them at the address that was in the original order, adamwoodallmusic@hotmail.com, but got a non-delivery message from Hotmail saying that address no longer exists.  They haven't logged in to their MySpace page since August of 2007 and the only email address I have now that may or may not work is from their listserv newsletter.  I just posted messages to their MySpace page and their band webpage Contact section (like that really worked when I tried it earlier this year) and sent an email message to their newsletter email address;  not that I'm thinking anythings going to work...

Oh well, at least Ande Parks accepted my Facebook friend request, so the day's not completely shot to hell.  Huh?
