EXILES was the best X Book for years...but I loved QUANTUM LEAP and I'm a sucker for alternate realities.

Winick and Bedard had amazing runs. I was cold on the Austen arcs and I'm just not feeling the Claremont run. Sad

Even Austen's runs were good, actually. LOVED his Hyperion stuff. It's pretty damn inspired. Loved the arc that Kev Walker illustrated with the evil Iron Man.

I need to re-read this stuff.

Ooooh --the Hyperion issues were great -- for some reason I thought they were done by Bedard. It was the Exiles in the 616 universe issues that I found "blah."

Ahh, the 'crossover' with Uncanny. That was quite bad.

I just read the first four issues. I'll talk about 'em a bit in #21.

They're, uh, very nice to look at...  Shocked

Cant wait to hear your thoughts. Lets just say that my first four issues, plus #0 will not be being binded. No

It'll have to wait until #22. All my airtime for #21 was devoted to another Marvel title...  Whistle

Let's just say Vince has found his replacement for "WonderFulk" and I, one of the "Marvel Guys" on the show had to cool him off.

Damn it.  I picked up the first 10 issues and was going to read them in one big chunk.  You win some you lose some.  C'est la vie.

Hey guys, I'm back from vacation and I'm just finishing up Ep. 20.  One quick comment: I too have never understood why people would buy slabbed versions of books that are only a couple of months - or even years - old.  If you look at them like works of art, like Vince does, then I might understand slabbing older Silver or Bronze age issues to keep them in good condition, but otherwise, it just seems like a waste of money.  Then again, since I came into comics just after the speculation crash, that kind of behaviour has never seemed like a good idea to me.

Great episode guys; looking forward to getting to Episode 21 soon!
