I want to go on the record as saying you people know WAAAAAAY too much about Miley Cyrus.
It's a little disturbing.
Well, I have a 5 year old daughter at home...so I can't help but know. I'm not sure what everyone else's excuse is. Besides Vince just being Vince.

It's frightening what you learn from your kids...or near your kids...or thanks to your kids...I would never have discovered Avatar: The Last Airbender if I hadn't been hunting for a suitable show to watch with kids that my wife and I could enjoy as well...there's only so much Calliou and SpongeBob that a sane person can watch... Children completely change your perspective...do you really think I pictured myself discussing Miley Cyrus's relative hotness with other adults...do you think I pintured myself having discussions with friends regarding potty-training techniques? It happens...and once you get over the initial creepiness, you realize that eventually you will have someone in your life to mow the yard and do the dishes who will most likely eat you out of house and home and do a crappy job on all the things you want them to do meaning you have to do it again anyway, and they'll expect you to love them regardless, buy them tons of crap, and you know what? You do it with a big ass grin on your face because Dear God they are your children and they make you realize how much you can actually love something in the world...makes comics and movies seem silly in retrospect... Sorry...I digress ...what were we talking about? Oh yeah... Who the hell is Selena Gomez?

EWW!! I was already feeling skeevy about calling the painting of a pre-teen "gorgeous" but you're reffing a real life girl! Emph on the "girl" Betcha got a kid her age!!! At least you know what age Miley is; better than trying to figure out what age the "16 year old" Chinese Women Gymnastics team really is...

It will be interesting to see how many of them still have 16 listed as their age in 2012 when they go to London...this was just reeeeediculous!!! And a bit creepy...

I'm surprised Huggies didn't sponsor them, you know half of those girls still aren't potty trained. Ridiculous. I would bitch and moan a lot more but, truth be told, we Americans have been some cheatin' mofos, too. Look at how many of our track and field stars have come up dirty in retrospect.

Who the hell is Selena Gomez?
She's on some Disney channel show and, from the very little I know of her, she's got some kind of feud with Miley.

She's on a Harry Potteresque show called Wizards of Waverly Place, but she appeared a few times on Hannah Montanta as a rival teen pop singer with an attitude. No idea if they dislike each other in real life, but that's where their onscreen feud originated. One picks up stuff when they have tween girls in the house...
