Does anyone else think Ellis' X-Men are the charaxcters who live in an alternative Ghost Box world? Kaare Andrews' art makes the point seem extremely valid (Non-Cat Beast; Mohawk Storm, Queen of Wakanda, Emma rocking the badonkadonk), but Ellis himself sowed the seeds for alternative world X-Men when he first introduced Ghost Boxes, and that 2-part Ghost Box special.

Thoughts?

Good point, hadn't thought about it from that end. Andrews' art is starting to grow on me a bit. Didn't like it at first, but even if it hadn't I'd still be into this arc just for Ellis' writing. I dig the ghost box concept (named no doubt for the music label) and multiverse stuff in general.

I'm loving this series, and appreciate a big name writer working with an artist that's not sticking to the "fauxtorealistic" art trend.

I picked up the other Astonishing X series when Bianchi started - when he left, so did I.
