The whole Cee-Lo album is up on NPR music for streaming.

Only problem is that it's the clean version.

Never heard of Cee-Lo or anything by him until these closing credits....I was immeadiately taken by and inspired to d/l this tune....the legit way through itunes even!

If anyone ever gives you hassles about putting thier song at the end of show, feel free to cite me as an example Cool

I received the GR omnibus last week... not seeing any reason to be offended. Pretty good so far... and generally speaking if Mr. Moore is involved in any way, I want to check it out.

I might not agree with how people portray God, satan, angels and demons... but I'm almost always fascinated by the concepts of how "behind the veil" or the "unseen" works/operates. Which is why I dig the small amount of Hellblazer I have read. Still haven't read Preacher... on the list though.

Epting a street level artist?

He was fantastic on Crux, producing anything other than street level characters.  El Cazador?  The man can do pirates.  I think he can do a lot and it's too limiting to call him a street level artist.

Also, Epting was the Avenger artist during the Harras run, when the Avengers wore leather coats and were trying to be an Image-like team.

This response is for Wood -

"There's some justifyin' mofo's up in here!"  Inspiring your purchase or not, EoC still technically breaks the law by including the song... and now tries to throw a copyright disclaimer of their own on top of it...  Whistle

I think I lost the thread somehow. How was this directed at me? What context?  Thinking

Just that in terms of copyright/piracy issues normally found on the forum, you tend to be pretty vocal about pronouncing any "pro" (or rather, anything that isn't steadfastly against) as rationalizing/justifying.  The "justifying mofo" was as close to a direct quote as my sieve-like mind could muster.  Tongue

OK, I get that part...but what does that have to do with a "song" and our new disclaimer?

Rebroadcasting the song is still copyright infringement, no?  And I just think it's humorous that a piece of work that contains copyright infringement would then contain a notice strictly forbidding the use of your copy-written material...

Also - keep in mind that it was a jab/joke hence all the icons... I fear my humor may have been lost since I had to explain it.  Surrender

Oh. I guess I'm confused about the analogy because I have nothing to do with our music or the disclaimer. I enjoy them both, thoroughly, but you directed your remarks directly at me, which seems odd since neither is my doing.  Thinking

I think it was because you mentioned in a thread about piracy that you cringe when you hear the pirate-turned-paying-customer stories, which was what Steve was referencing, I think.

Naw, I was just letting it be known that you did Mr Cee-Low a solid by turning on a paying customer.

It was a funny, yet nicely groovy tune. Yes

On the subject of Ghost Rider... maybe this belongs in the confessions thread, but I actually like the Way/Tex/Saltares run quite a bit better than the Aaron/Boschi/Huat run. I'd have loved to see that one go on forever, man.  Rock Horns

Ooh, good choice! I'd have to agree with you.

As far as your Turkey Day Marathon, one can *never* go wrong with Mitchell or The Final Sacrifice.
