¹Gender always seemed a little strange with Galactus.  At one time he was a regular dude, but I think he sort of transcended gender.  It always seems strange when you have these onmi-potent beings that still have an ascribed gender.  I think of him more like an "it" than a "he" but its the holidays so I guess I shouldn't neuter the poor guy.

I understand your Galactic concerns regarding the perception of removing something from Galactus, but I do not view it that way.  Gender to me connotates mortality and petty reproductive concerns.  I would think that at some point in the power scale, you transcend those concepts.  Mind you I actually own a copy of Galacta, Daughter of Galactus¹ which will likely spell the end of any shred of credibility that I may have hoped to maintain.  Although I did think it odd that it came and went with no mention on Marvel Noise.  OK, maybe no mention about its actual content, but what is worth noting is that parts 2-4 originally debuted on Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited.  It is interesting to see what debuts where and how they link the print to the digital.  Obviously this is a Z-level concept but still plays into the future of digital v. print². 

Well let me clear up one thing, in that they are not my photos.  I just like Cupcake the Bunny and check out Cupcake's tweets from time to time.  I, unfortunately³, have not been into collecting action figures for quite some time⁴.  Cupcake is a sassy little bunny, but I do have a weakness for rabbits.     I feel like I should say that Cupcake seems pretty badass so I think Galactus is in trouble. 

In fact, there may be an update to that thread.

¹There is something about buying a comic book where you can be pretty sure that you are the only actual end consumer who bought the book.  I would imagine there are a few in quarter bins but I can proudly say I am the only person to pay cover for that baby.
²See I can justify any purchase.  One more terrible aspect of being married to me.  Count yourselves lucky that you did not fall prey to my charms, for lack of a better word.
³I am fairly sure my wife does not think it is bad fortune.
⁴I have a few happy meal toys, a Spider-man Mr. Potatoe Head but that is about it.  I think if I went down that road, I would end up broke and sans wife.
