Another great episode but I did miss Chris.  However, thanks for reminding me to get into Savage Dragon.  That is a title that I've been meaning to get into for years but it just always escapes my mind when I'm buying trades.  Also interesting convo about Joe Casey's work on Marijuanaman.  I never had heard of that title and your discussion about it got me into wanting to check that out.  Thank goodness the Pittsburgh Comic Con is coming up maybe I can find some of that stuff cheap.  Keep up the great episodes guys!

You sold me, Jason. I have purchased Vampire Boy! Now, I only have to find time to read it, no matter how good you made it sound.

Man, Savage Dragon issues are CHEAP.  I nearly ordered the bulk of them from Mile High of all places. They were running a 50% off sale and had the issues in VF/NM for $1.70 a piece (so $0.85 with sale), which is a song. I never got around the placing the order though because I got too busy and forgot to go back before the sale ended.

Man, MOST Savage Dragon issues are CHEAP.

Fixed that for you.

Some of the multiples of fifty issues can be a real pain in the ass to find at decent prices. Plus, some issues in the 105-120 range can also be fairly elusive.

I use Mycomicshop as a benchmark. If they don't have multiple copies of a given issue in stock for an extended period of time, chances are good that book is fairly tough to acquire.

That makes sense, I hadn't got that far down the list.

I think this is the latest (since an 11oC epsiode was released) that I have listened to an episode.
I have now learned that, for me, I need to listen to new episodes anywhere from Thursday to Sunday at the latest.....

I just got to the part where Vince is talking about Xombi and asking if that one page "is comics" or not (and hearing crickets). Too deep for a Monday or Tuesday for me. At the least, I need to have a my own drink roll call before I can keep up with Vince. So Thursday or Friday would ideal.

looking forward to this week. I hope your guest is still coming. Very exciting

cheers lads

I was able to find 50-114 with no problems on eBay and mycomicshop, then I hit a huge wall. I don't think much of the early 100s are in trade which might be why they are so elusive.

Just to add a little more to Hellboy: The Fury being the 'final arc'.  As someone else stated, this is the final arc of Fegredo's run as artist on the ongoing story.  The Fury ends the story contained in Darkness Calls, Wild Hunt, The Storm and now The Fury.  Fegredo will stay on to do one shots from Hellboy's past. While talking to Scott Allie at C2E2, he told me that there will be 2 pages in front of the Fury.  These 2 pages will include important panels (Mignola picked them out) from Darkness Calls, Wild Hunt and The Storm in order to catch people up/remind them of what happened previously.  He said they wanted to do this because they know it's taken a long time to get The Fury out (The Storm ended in Sept).

To David and Mr. Wood.  Tonci Zonjic (from Jake Ellis) is going to be drawing the next Lobster Johnson series when it comes out ( next year I think?).  Just wanted to let you know cause I'm loving Jake Ellis too.

P.S. my name's Randy and this is my first post.

P.P.S. READ HELLBOY AND BPRD they're great and got me into reading comics.
