No, not yet. But it gets filed away for sure, and Johns and the studio folks need a win next. They can't afford for the next project(s) to also be critical and financial flops.

Yeah, I guess so? I really haven't thought a lot about Nelson/Johns yet because it's early in their run. You figure they're talking about film, television, video games, toys, the works...so I have to think they'll be judged more on a measure of their overall progression than one or two identifiable tentpoles. That said, they -- like any studio heads -- can't afford a MAJOR flop, those usually lead to the axe, and quickly.

I think Green Lantern is going to tank on a Kick Ass/ Watchmen/ Scott Pilgrim level.  I have seen none of my sons friends in gl gear. My friend who works retail has noticed that the GL toys are not moving off of shelves. I think that this movie is going to fail to resonate with non comic audiences.  Even within comic fans I have heard lots of complaints about the trailor.  My prediction for the big 4 comic movies is
1. Thor
2. X-Men
3.green lantern
4 Captain America

This still holds up so far.
