Campbell's SuperShow 2011 Art (UPDATE: with Jampiece)

I've got over half of the art scanned in, so I wanted to drop a few images. The artists just killed it. I ended up getting way more sketches than I originally intended, but the Artist Alley at SuperShow is just so conducive to hanging and thinking up ideas, that this always seems to end up happening.
Can't wait to share my larger pieces that should be coming in a few weeks. Giddy!
Selina by Erik Jones
One of my OA purchases - Man-Thing by Declan Shalvey
Cassie Hack by Sean Murphy
Cassie Hack by Rebekah Isaacs luv this
Cassie Hack by Martheus Wade
Leonardo by Dave
Hulk vs. Thing by SuperUgly
Cassie and Vlad by Daniel Logan
Cassie and Vlad by Dwonch!
Hellboy by Dafu
Any my new sketchbook. Favorite Horror Movie. Artist's Choice. I got good vibes from the guys on this one. I love the first few choices. We ran out of time, but Dwonch was up next with Gremlins.
Leatherface by SuperUgly
Frankenstein by Andy
Shining by Wachter

I talked to Chris DiBari before I headed out on Sunday, and its look like we'll be doing Exorcist(!) in Baltimore. Can't wait! Can't wait for some real obscure shit, too. Critters! Invaders from Mars! Hammer films!

Yeah, i went a little overboard with Cassie. But she's awesome. Just bring reference.
I love Martheus' too. Super clean and dope background.

And I wanted to say this somewhere after Jason's article yesterday, and this is probably the best place -- for those lamenting the demise of the Adam Hughes convention sketch, consider getting something from Erik at a fraction of the cost

Yeah, I wanted that page the SECOND I saw it in the issue. I knew I needed to take steps...
Paolo will be putting up a few other Man-Thing pages by Declan. Don't despair, brother

Nice haul, you have a good eye for art. Another great artist for your horror movie sketchbook is a young woman named Ming Doyle. She was at Boston Comic Con although I'm not sure what other cons she does.

Thanks, man. And as Jason mentions in his article, I'll take any opportunity to give artists an incentive to outdo one another (and do right by their fave horror movie).

I know, I got hooked UP.
And I haven't seen my Robert Atkins colored Spidey piece yet. But based on his other sketches, its gonna be GORGEOUS.

You killed it sir. Looks like you quickly went from the padawan to the Jedi master this year.

No. Haven't met him yet - would love to see his penciled work in person.

Oh, that OTHER piece. I "think" I can get away with putting that up on the wall (in a place of honor). Timing turned out great. Can't wait to share...

And I got one more square on my sketch-card jam piece. Sean hooked me with a Harvey. I really dig it. Battin' 1.000 so far.
