Yeah I go through various levels of stress and insanity with deadline work. usually the first thing to go is getting to interact with people on the internet. I have a bit of time as Im starting a new series and the deadlines arent crazy yet.
its nice to feel welcome, thanks man,

The WonderWoman is outstanding and the foreground arm is pulled off perfectly...
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the kind words folks. A lot of times if I do a sketch Im happy with and happen to get a scan of it, I'll color it up or get my friend simon to do it. Here are a few of his colors. he is going to be coloring the upcoming SnakeEyes ongoing series Im doing through IDW this year!

Absolutely fantastic, Robert! Absolutely!!!
I noticed you have more women sketches this time around. A personal challenge or simply coincidence? Either way, gorgeous work.
Great name, too, by the way!

I think I was just asked to do more. Most artist gravitate towards drawing a particular gender better in the begining. For whatever reason one is easier than the other. It took me a long time to learn how to draw women well. Something I still work on. Ive figured out methods of breaking down the structure and some basic proportions that can be considered attractive. But when it comes to believable facial expressions, really natural body language, or drawing that "cute" factor, these are all things I continue to work on and try to refine. I think its the same with most artists.
Ive had opportunities to draw solo female titles and it never tempted me more than staying on with GI JOE or the other titles Ive worked on. Still I draw a whole lot of Baroness at the conventions. I have more female character commissions I can post.

The female figure is more challenging, I agree, but you are absolutely getting "it". Great, great work, sir!

Damn dude, that Ronin is SICK!!! What kind of markers do you use? I've only played with color digitally but was looking at markers last time I was at the art supply store...
