Superheroes On Court Presentation - Yale
« on: 10:05 PM | Tuesday, May 17, 2011 »

Saw this at the CGC board. All I know about the speaker is that he's a reputable comic book dealer and from various previous threads I'd read he's a pretty big pimpin lawyer. Thought it was a cool listen/watch.

Yeah, this dude is down in DC.

One of my colleagues that went to Yale Law showed me his alumni magazine from a few months ago and the cover article was "So Batman went to Yale Law School".  Zoomed in on some old comic panel that had a Yale Law diploma on his wall.  Everybody wants a piece of the man.
 Cheesy

Edit: not a big fan of spelling it "superheros"

Found this online:
Quote
By day, Mark S. Zaid, a Washington, D.C. attorney, is a nationally recognized expert on national security law and freedom of information issues. He has made hundreds of appearances as a guest commentator on TV and radio, and testified before Congress. Like his comic-book heroes, Zaid has an alter-ego as a comic book collector and dealer. He is also an advisor to the Overstreet Comic Book Price & Grading Guides and a co-founder of the Comic Book Collecting Association.

Also a real good dude among the comics community when it comes to comic fans who have been ripped off by dealers etc (which realistically, you'd probably never get a lawyer with his apparent credentials on shit like that).

This is his site for comics:

He has a DOPE More Fun collection:
