 where do they all take place i understand they are right after the  movie but  in the first trade where they are invovled in a dinner  is that a  prequil to them meeting in the house/? and the second trade that covers death vally i think theres two of them one covers them in dc   in a  protest rally and another where one group has a group of zomibes that  are channed up in the basement or something and where does the christmas one take place? i sent u a message vince i didnt know if u would inogre the message or not so i though id ask here too

Also in the movie series what is the actual cause? and how come in the movies they always make it seem like they cant  take back the earth in the movies Hell if we became the dominate species due to mass exstincion cuased on our part why cant we do it again to the zombies

I havn't read ALL the Avatar comics, but in the one set in DC I believe it's supposed to be occuring on the same night as the initial zombie outbreak, only we're seeing what's happening in DC instead of in Pittsburgh.
Essentially, I get the impression that these series are all taking place around the time of the initial outbreak or slightly afterwards, but we're seeing how the zombie outbreak is affecting different areas.

Also in the movie series what is the actual cause?

I don't believe they ever go into the actual cause of the outbreak.
