The Spencer penned "Secret Avengers Fear Itself" story was REALLY good.  Great Beast and Ant Man moments. Perfect art and writing.  A really good use of an event tie in (shows the SA were first response to DC during Blitzkrieg, USA). Still, don't know how I feel about it being an unofficial sequel to "Night at the Museum".

THE OPEN TOMB: The twice-a-week podcast in which host Eric Anderson (from 'Long Distance Relationship' podcasting fame) reaches into the tomb and pulls out a dusty relic since lost to the ages. His focus: Movies and Comic Books. His target: Your curiosity and your famygdila (the part of your brain that regulates nostalgia). So enjoy his fun and informative evaluations. It's consistent AND pithy!

Having found a DCBS type service over in the UK (Obviously not the same level of discounts, but monthly preorders and much cheaper than my LCS) i now have to wait  for my funny book fix

Action Comics #901
Detective Comics #877
Amazing Spider-Man #662
FF #4
Wolverine #9
X-Men Legacy #249

However I noticed that I missed a few books off my order and therefore went back to my LCS to make a few purchases this week

American Vampire #15 - Still loving this book,  Rafael Albuquerque art is a treat and between this and snyders run on detective i've become a fan of his work. Could of done without the big advert in the middle but the Survival of the fittest preview at the back made up for this.

Walking Dead #85 - Not everyone reads this in trade, didn't have the impact of the previous isuues until the last page. Kirkman with this book is a master of his craft

Uncanny X-Men #537 - Wasn't a big fan of Wheddon's breakworld story towards the end of the run but i think Gillen is doing a good job of tidying this up. Nice cliffhanger to the issue but if you have read Predule to Schism #1 it has already been spoiled..... The X-editors need a slap

Venom #3 - How good was this, Fowler art in this is great and I really enjoyed this issue, this is the first issue where i liked the balance between flash and Symbiote. Lots of faith in what Remender is doing on this and x-force

I don't read many X-Books only Uncanny, so thankfully I missed the spoilers. but even though the issue was action packed and brutal you know that.......
Magneto and Colossus will get their powers back and that Kitty won't die.
..... Great upping of the stakes though

Don't usually read the letters pages but they were great, some brilliant answers from Kirkman. Did want the letters to stop trying to spoil Invincible for me, its my own fault for been so far behind

Two of my favorite series that do not get enough readers are Zatanna and Power Girl. The last issues of both were fantastic.

That Walking Dead letters page was a hoot. I had some of the same responses, but I thought it was awesome. Also enjoyed the Witch Doctor #0 issue a lot.

Venom #3- I was probably the only person who was a little down on the first few issues of the series so I planned on dropping it. However this issue sucked me right back in. Tom Fowler's art was  Rock Horns, it's being added back to the pull list

Xombi #3- This issue brought me the same excitement that the first one did.

Jennifer Blood #3- The ending is just sick, and I love it

Super Dinosaur #2- Super Awesome  Wink. I want the SD in winter gear action figure
