Looks great Blue'. I'll admit that if you're trying to nail down a "style" for yourself, then I'd recommend that style you used in your charcoal Spaceboy drawing. That's my favorite of all of your pieces and was simply gorgeous. In fact it's probably one of my favorite Sketchbook drawings that anyone's done all year. Easily in my top 5 for sure. (maybe that's why I'm recommending that style
)
While I really like
all of your work, my favorite stuff of yours is the stuff that you do like the Space boy. You have the ability to convey the image very well using heavier "anchor lines" and letting the viewer fill in the details with thier imagination, only showing the lines neccessary to give the character depth. Kinda reminds me of the way that Mike Mignola, Duncan Fegredo, Darwynn Cooke, and Bruce Timm do it.
Also, your action sequences have a fluidity that brings the image to life. I'd try doing more of those action scenes, because your action seems very natural (not posed), especially when the figures a fore-shortened like that Green Lantern.
These are what I like best about your work, and the areas that I would recommend focusing on. i.e., work to your strengths.
btw, my favorites of these are the Punisher and the Iron Man (heavy lines and blacks). I love the Green Lantern too (due to the composition).
Hope I'm not coming across as a pretentious turd, but I'm getting the feeling that you're trying to nail down a certian style that you can be consistent with to help build your body of work. As I said, it's all good, that style is just my favorite of the ones that you do.
Karma brother.
