I know, what was meant, sorry to get all "proper use of the English language" on you all. When something is best for you, the word is "favorite"....

No need to apologise, certainly not to me I get what you're saying though and I certainly see it enough. Heck, I'm sure I do it enough times as well. But it's sort of like how you're not supposed to write "I think..." when writing essays because the whole essay is about what you think. We can't always expect everyone to say things like "in my opinion" whenever they talk about stuff (even though I would also like to see that happen).

I'm the same way when someone rails off against a book being "bad" when it's generally just not to their personal taste.

It's one of my hot buttons to distinguish people's personal tastes from absolute words like good/bad best/worst, nothing personal.

I love when people confuse the 2 words "my favorite" with the word "best".... 

It happens often I admit. Almost as much as your over use of elipsis marks.
