Which is why people (not you) say, fuck it, and pirate it in 10 seconds instead of going to a readily available MARVEL digital solution that would allow people looking to read backissues for a reasonable price.

Do you mean something like the readily available Marvel digital solution that has at least 40 issues of David's Hulk run available right now? Wink

Marvel can't be expected to instantly digitize their entire back catalog, put it online and maintain any reasonable level of quality.

Jim, are those 40 issues from the beginning of his run and sequential?  I had the Marvel digital servise a couple of years ago.  I liked it but had some dislikes too.  One of the biggest problems that I found was that runs like this were spotty with gaps in issues.   They may be better about this now though.

Yes. They have issues #331-#373 up there. If I'm not mistaken, that's the first 42 issues of his run (*unless there was a fill-in or something he didn't write— I haven't read David's run on Hulk).

I joined for a month back in March and found that still happened with some runs but they seemed to be filling in the gaps.

Thanks for the update Jim.  It sounds like they are making progress.  Now if I could read the books on my Ipad.....

I'd settle for just having an iPad! Smiley

While I'd like Marvel to pick up the pace on the Hulk Visionaries I don't need them to flood the market with volumes. I can't read that fast. That's a lot of book that would go into the Regina pile.

I just started his run on Incredible Hulk and am not impressed.  I read all of Bruce Jones from somewhere in the 30's to #76 or whatever issue it was he stopped.  I loved that entire run.  Then Peter David jumps on and starts on this monster island thing and I'm not feeling it yet.  I'll give it a few more issues though.

His original run is better. His second run after Bruce Jones was enjoyable but it wasn't as good and didn't have near the same subplots and themes associated with it that PAD would build on for years.
