Yeah it is inexplicable. Now if Chris was the artisit, and Johns wrote it , then that would be a different story.

Well yes, but again let's be clear...that's because of Johns. Chris' talents are immense, but he can't carry a book commercially yet. Very few creators can in this market by the way, so that's in no way a condemnation of the man's immense skills.

 With Fear Itself announced today it did occur to me the Brubaker doesn't write the big crossover events and now they have skipped him in favour of Fraction.

I know he doesn't want too. Kind of figured he would be the next in line eventually. That's cool that he doesn't want too. He's also written for smaller events within a family of books but never been in charge.
