Maybe. I don't work so days and weeks seem long as shit to me (I'm always confounded that it's not 2013 yet). It seems like Civil War 0 came out months ago though and I *think* only 3 related issues are out though I think Cobra comes out soon?

I'm just a trade reader griping and having withdrawal from beautiful full arcs/stories. I feel like a CC should have already been named and defeated by now!

pull out the toys and act is out  Wink

Unfortunately IDW doesn't seem to be that strong of a factor in HASBRO's thinking, minus Helix who I think we all smelled was forced on us.
Don't be so surprised.  Hasbro does have final say in GIjoe stories because it still is their property being represented.  I know they stopped DDP from some ideas when they had the title.

Also, remember, Hasbro made a few Kamakura figures as well as put him in Sigma 6 after being created by DDP.

Well, yeah I know Hasbro has the final say in just about anything, I've dealt with them on interviews that go through very tedious filtering, it just isn't much of a factor on their toyline. Kamakura also had the advantage of being built into the MARVEL Snake Eyes mythos and is still more the exception than otherwise.

Not saying it won't happen or can't happen, but it's not a simple as merely being semi-popular in a comic.

Is anyone else digging the new storyline, Cobra Civil War?  I think this story has really started strong, especially Snake Eyes.  I expected Snake Eyes to be my least favorite, since I felt he would be limited by not talking.  However, the interaction among the other characters, and what they say to Snake Eyes is really strong.  It doesn't hurt that he just kicks ass!!!

Overall, I'm really happy so far with the relaunch.   Thumbs Up

I'm very happy with the relaunch and the Cobra Civil War, with the exception of Saltares' art on the main book.  It is often quite bad in places.  But Robert Atkins on the Snake Eyes book is really strong.
