That sucks for people who might have seen that by mistake, but I think we as a comic reading community focus to much on the outcome, and not enough on the journey. If all that matters is how a story ends, or bulleted plot points, I would just read Wikipedia.
The journey (for the Ultimate Universe) ceased to matter for me after that tidal wave wiped out Manhattan, killing 10's of thousands of people and the aftermath/effects of it was barely mentioned again.
Given the profound impact the 9/11 terrorist attacks had on the real-world NYC, I find it hard to get into the stories after the Ultimate Universe had a terrorist attack as severe with a huge loss of life, and little indication of any kind of profound lingering effect. That's just a personal opinion.
That said, I would have gotten USM #160 just to see how the death scene played out, but now I don't have to.
