But David A Price, you KNOW you're the apple of my eye! Dude, fine, fine discussion about X-Men #503! On the next Geek Brunch, I give a semi-dramatic reading of that very scene. It cracked me up!! But you're so right about it. How stupid could Sam be? And that Greg Land rendition of him. WTF? Poufy hair all blown out? I haven't tried the comparison yet, but I'm sure it's the same images he used for the Ultimate Human Torch. It's the same hairstyle for sure. I'm not quite on the same perception level to recognize the personalities exactly, but I am starting to see the same images pasted from previous of his work now. It's embarassing. I didn't catch the inconsistency of Roberto's hairstyle, but I'm going to look it up again.

I guess on one hand, he'd have blown out hair, being the flyer that he is (like on Lois and Clark, they had Kal-El's 'do reversed. I wasn't feelin' it initially, but it makes sens when you think about it), but is it too much to ask for some consistency in the character's look from one panel to the next?!?!
But ultimately (see what I did there?) I just love hearing you tell it, big guy. It's getting so that I could just listen to you read a chinese food menu, as long as you provide commentary, and I'm good.
