Why would Marvel publish the same exact page in different issues with different inkers?  The page in question is in the Illuminati 1 pg 23 published Dec. 06 and then New Avengers 40 pg 2 published April 08. Both were penciled by Jim Cheung, the Illuminati inked by Mark Morales and the other by John Dell. So I'm really curious as to why they didn't just use the Morales inked page again. And in the interest of full disclosure I am coming at this as an original art collector. Thoughts?

No idea. Maybe just to keep it consistent throughout the issue. Or maybe something behind the scenes that we're not privy to?

That's possible but I find it hard to believe that marvel would want to pay 2 inkers to ink the same page when you have a hi res file available.  Then there's the big OA question.  Which page has the original pencils on it? You would assume the Illuminati since it was published first but who really knows?  I guess just the artists involved.
