Apocalypse is mine!
He is awesome.
The joints are not tight but not loose goose, easy to articulate.
Paint app. are solid (or I lucked out I don't know).

Finally opened WW2 cap (Comicon repaint) and Winter Soldier.
Winter is stiff but nice sculpt. Finding one with a solid paint app was an effort. But he is tight.
Same Joe problem as always where the gun does not always fit into the hand the right way but otherwise nice fig.

WW2 repaint. Well I think Comicon paint looked a bit better but I don't have it so this will suffice. This figure is all kinds of awesome. Really good job of the Ult. Marvel WW2 Cap.

Line wide though- no bases for the Cap line, or the Thor line...WTF???

Also They should have done a better job supporting the X Men first class movie with toys. Some of the uniforms look pretty cool. I have not seen the movie yet but from what I hear its pretty dope. Still and all more toy support would have grossed them more loot.

Again way to drop the ball DC. Green lantern figs hurt my feelings. Might have to snag one for the Reynolds head and have one done custom.

Once again Apocalypse is awesome.
X men line- Age of apocalypse?!?! 4 Horseman would be money!!!

I've yet to open my WW2 Cap.  And missing the First Class figures was a mistake.

As for DC, Mattel continues to screw 3.75 collectors.  Although, I think I may be picking up a few Corp members on sale.

Picked up Ultimate Cap from the  movie line.
The figure himself is very well done but a bit shorter than the others which is odd because I thought Ultimate Cap was supposed to be a tad taller than 616 Cap. In any case the figure is solid the sculpt is nice, the new leg swivel joint and the new ankle swivel are all excellent. The shield/blade combo weapon is complete shit. I mean stupid when put together the shield does not even make a star. Or mine does not. Really dumb. Grab an extra shield from a comic pack or something.

Overall I like him a lot and is a good representation of ultimate cap from the later ult comics.

Can anyone point me to a good online comprehensive guide of the MU figures out there with images? I've searched, but come up short.

Thanks that will work. I'm still trying to resist (I really don't need to be buying toys), but the Thanos and Apocalypse figs are just so enticing. I'm just curious to see what all else has come out.

I'd resisted buying any action figures for the longest time, but over here in the UK there is a shop called Home Bargains which occassionally get random toy lines in. Last Christmas they got the Iron Man 2 figures in at a measley £1.99 each. I didn't want movie figures but then noticed they had the comic series too. I picked up the "classic" red and yellow Iron Man and the comic version of War Machine as I was blown away by the sculpts, especially at that price. My 2 year old son saw Iron Man and wanted to take him to bed, so I gave him mine and went back to get a replacement. So as part of his Christmas present he got Stealth Armour Iron Man, First Appearance Iron Man and Crymson Dynamo.
I've recently been picking up the odd loose figure on eBay, but so far I only have Iron Man, War Machine, Brown Wolverine, Colossus & Red Hulk.
Was there no "Comic Series" of figures in the Thor line as there was with Iron Man and Captain America? If there is I haven't seen any.

No, there wasn't/isn't.  I wondered about that, too. Maybe it's because there'd just be double figures (comic warriors 3 and Sif and Odin vs movie versions....maybe there could be a Balder, since he wasn't in movie) and there are already modern and classic Thor figures, as well as the Enchantress from the Secret Wars 2 packs.

The Marvel Select big Thanos was my first contemporary action figure....it's been a slippery slope....beware! Thumbs Up
