You know, the biggest heartache in Dr. Who is going to be when Rory becomes a villain.

Very impressed with the Gaiman penned episode, I'm not  big Gaiman fan but can appreciate some of his work.
This was one big love letter to the history of the show and very well executed

Gaiman's episode  Hearts and  Not Worthy and at the end  Cry. Very well done and I hope it's talked about on the next podcast, Jason be damned!

The Gaiman episode was very good, I can admire his work but it's never really grabbed me, but this I enjoyed.
Lots of references to the show's history but not done in a way that alienated people  IMO. (loved that Suranne Jone's character is referred to as TARDIS rather than the TARDIS, a reference to early first Doctor.

Matt Smith continues to impress.

One minor gripe, can we please stop killing Rory.

Loved the Confidential episode as well, looking back at all the previous TARDIS designs with Neil Gaiman. and the show's use of a design from a Blue Peter competition.

“The only water in the forest is a river” was a very intriguing line. Right now I don't know if River &Amy are the same or mother/daughter or not connected family-wise or the significance of the little girl in the astronaut suit but am certainly enjoying the ride.

Despite my dislike for Amy Pond this has been a great 4 episodes. Gaimen certainly lifted the bar.

Oh, sexy....

That is a pretty sexy web-site add.

Now that we have a Neil Gaiman penned episode can we please get a Warren Ellis written episode?

With Daleks?

And Jenny Sparks?

Come to think of it; a Grant Morrison penned episode would probably be fantastic (and he could use Hypertime) and so would an Alan Moore episode.

I think Jonathan Hickman would have a great time with the Dr. Who as a toy box.  Yes

As much as I love Hickman's writing I really don't think he could capture the wit and charm of the Doctor.

That and he's not British.

First thing he'd do is kill one of them, then the rest of the story would be them standing around a talking for 30 minutes. Yes, I'm still bitter.

For me, it isn't about how long it takes before he comes back--it's about slogging through the miserable issues until he does. Hickman on Doctor Who would be disastrous. I want a fun Doctor, not a morose depressing 'cerebral' Doctor. And hey, they've been able to make The Doctor cerebral, but fun at the same time. Hickman needs to study the technique.  (Yep. STILL bitter.)

Hence why I said he wouldn't be a good fit.  FF will play out and be an awesome story.  Just you wait.

At this point there needs to be a "Killing off Rory" drinking game.

yeah, i really REALLY liked it too! and like you guys, i'm not a big gaiman fan. i wouldn't mind seeing idris/sexy again. not as a permanent character, though.

i can't believe how damn pleasant it was to see the old tardis room. like seeing an old friend. it just looks so quaint now, compared to the new one. but still magical too.

very strong one-in-done episode. best one so far, IMO.
