It would be nice if artists stuck a company's character's style sheet as as much as Brevoort stuck to his look.

Yes, it would! Of course, I can only put so much blame for that on artists when the companies themselves don't seem to think it's important. For example, if you look at the way Bryan Hitch and Dale Eaglesham drew Reed Richards and the way he was drawn back when Marvel actually seemed to care about keeping characters on-model, it's pretty clear there was no editorial edict to keep Richards looking like Richards when those two artists were drawing FF.

He's socially awkward, not that that, by itself, is a crime or all that unusual in our little niche of the world. He wears the same trench coat and hat EVERYWHERE. I see him quite often near Times Square as we both head to the office, and he's always dressed in them, regardless of weather. I met him at a high end cocktail party where everyone was dressed to the 9s, he was in his trench and hat. I saw him present on a panel at a social media conference. Trench/Hat. And while it seems that most who work for or with him think he's quite good at his job, I've never seen him show an ounce of personality outside of the foolish blunder busting on Twitter.

Does he think he's Kevin Smith?

Maybe he has a side job smuggling insider trading documents of frozen concentrated concentrated oragne juice.   Whistle

He'd be wearing shorts with the trench coat if that were true.

That's understandable.  I prefer Coca-Cola over Pepsi.

But mostly because it tastes better.  Pepsi's way to syrupy for me.  And I get a kick out of searching for that 'perfect' Coke when I eat out, looking for that special place that mixes in the CO2 just right.  When I do decide to indulge in soda, that is.  If I ask for Coke and the server replies "is Pepsi okay?" I ask for flavored tea or water or anything else.

Oh, but yeah...  Yay, comics!!

Thank goodness.  I thought I was the only one.   Cool

anyone that can hear tom brevoort is an alpha comic consumer. the average reader doesnt get so inside baseball on comics. his pulpit sits at the bottom of the comic rabbit hole.

I don't drink it much these days but when I do, I prefer it room temperature then poured into a glass filled with ice. And I much prefer it in a glass or glass bottle as opposed to the can or paper cup or through a straw.

But enough about my Coke preferences, lets get back to socially awkward, trench/hat wearing editors.

This statement makes is quite controversial. Proof of concept would be if he published a book about it.  Wink
