Dark Horse solicits went up back on the 9th, but a search didn't reveal any thread on them yet....
http://www.newsarama.com/comics/dark-horse-august-2011-solicitations-110509.html
I'm getting less from them this month than last:
BALTIMORE: THE CURSE BELLS #1
B.P.R.D. HELL ON EARTH: MONSTERS #2 (of 2)
CONAN: ROAD OF KINGS #7 (didn't realize this was an on-going.....)
DARK HORSE PRESENTS #3
THE GOON #35
USAGI YOJIMBO #140

Ill get the dollhouse and sw minis in trade down the road. Dark Horse Presents #1 left me cold on picking up anymore past the 2nd one I already have ordered on DCBS.

Definitely getting DHP #3, that book is almost like the second coming of Epic Illustrated in my eyes...

DHP #3 contains a 13-page PREVIEW of Steranko's Red Tide?!?
Okay, Dark Horse, I'm out.
If they collect the stories in individual trades, I'll buy the Corben and Adams. Otherwise, I'm done.

Sadly, there's not much there that interests me. Predictably, I'll get
BALTIMORE: THE CURSE BELLS #1
B.P.R.D. HELL ON EARTH: MONSTERS #2 (of 2)
I really wanted to be excited about the Dollhouse comics but after seeing the art in the first issue, I couldn't bring myself to buy it. BORRRING....
Jim
PS.) The thread title says "Dark Horse solicits for March 2011" but I assume it was supposed to say "May", not "March". Just thought I'd point it out...

KULT # 2
Does anyone have any thoughts on the Criminal Macabre omnibus? Is it worth checking out?

Yay!! New Blade of the Immortal!!
Hiroki Samura rocks If you've never seen his stuff, flick through it in your LCS some time, beautiful artwork.
Vol. 24 probably not the best jumping on point though.
And I'm inclined to agree with Vince, I don't think DHP is the place to pimp preview pages, but I'll still pick it up I assume.

Actually, it should say August.....the perils of auto-fill.......I fixed it.

I really like Criminal Macabre, but that does not mean YOU will like it.
Here's the wiki page, but it has pretty sparse data:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal_Macabre:_A_Cal_McDonald_Mystery
If you like the writing of Steve Niles & the art of people like Ben Templesmith, Kelley Jone, & Kyle Hotz, then there's a good chance you'll like it.
The thing that sold me on Cal McDonald happened in one of his earlier adventures.....
He drank a bunch of holy water before going after some vampires. Ultimately he took a "holy water whiz" on the main vampire, with predictably devastating results (to the vampire).
This amused me.

Looks like it will just be Bprd for me in august from Dark Horse.
At least Dark Horse are helping me save money.... unlike some other publishers

Absolutely Zippy for me this month from Dark Horse. That may be a first. I buy Usagi and BPRD in trades.
