The Source just accidentally posted more information about Flashpoint, but quickly took it down. They posted the Flashpoint Friday banner with the following:

FLASHPOINT: EMPEROR AQUAMAN #1-#3
Written by Tony Bedard
Art by Ardian Syaf

FLASHPOINT: WONDER WOMAN AND THE FURIES #1-#3
Written by Abnett & Lanning
Art by Scott Clark

FLASHPOINT: LOIS LANE AND THE RESISTANCE #1-#3
Written by Abnett & Lanning
Art by Harvey Tolibao???

Pretty interesting, especially with the inclusion of Abnett & Lanning. Did their contract with Marvel run out?

I don't know but didn't they do something in that DC Christmas special that I didn't read?

I am really looking forward to Flashpoint for all these alternate versions of characters. . I am a sucker for that stuff. One of the reasons Age of Apocalypse is one of my favorite story lines.

I was thinking she'd be leading the Female Furies, like Fourth World.

I love Elseworlds type stories so I'm totally down with that. Anyone want to send me your unwanted Elseworlds books feel free to contact me. I probably won't pay you for them.

Just sayin'

Like in Final Crisis too. Actually seems kinda interesting to me, but honestly, I'm not the biggest D&A fan. We'll see.

I also wonder if the Lois book is related to Kurt Busiek and Carlos Pacheco's Superman run from a few years back. They did a flash forward (sorry about the pun) to a post apocalyptic future where Lois and everyone else were living in a cave and Superman was suck in Parasite's body (I think...it's been a while).

Were they ever exclusive? I think they were just getting alot of Marvel work in addition to whatever else they were doing.

DnA were never exclusive as far as I know, they were just kept very busy by the House of Ideas.

Rumors of an Abin Sur Green Lantern comic book is on the internets as well.

This looks like it could be a fun event.

Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert and Sandra Hope are creating an epic five issue series, one with a scope so big and ambitious that there will be fifteen mini series expanding on the events, along with several important one shots.

So the entirety of Flashpoint will be 5 issues plus 15 mini series and an undisclosed amount of one shots  Thinking

Yeah, they're also taking over Soldier Zero at Boom, if I remember correctly.

Oh, and I am so looking forward to Emperor Aquaman.

FLASHPOINT spans the DC Universe from the dark streets of Gotham to the ruins of Big Ben. It’s an international tale of action and intrigue that impacts an entire universe.

Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert and Sandra Hope are creating an epic five issue series, one with a scope so big and ambitious that there will be fifteen mini series expanding on the events, along with several important one shots.

This afternoon we’ll be announcing fourteen mini series’ titles  - and leaving one a mystery for now, along with the one-shots.

This isn’t a parallel Earth.

This isn’t a mirror world.

This is home.

I really, really hope they mean "five three issue mini-series" and not 15 three issue mini-series.
