Listening now while I'm doin' the dishes.
Iron Man the best Marvel movie? Incredible Hulk better than Iron Man?
Is Spider-Man the Movie so far off the radar now? I weep for the future.
Congrats on 25!

Spidey 2 was good, but not to the level that some place it. Spidey 3 was a mess...

Incredible Hulk better than Iron Man?
Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but making that statement is clearly the result of drinking during the episode, and apparently for HOURS before!

We still haven't seen Incredible Hulk, so I can't speak about that one. Same with Spidey 3.
Since the origin story was out of the way in Spider-Man 2 - and Molina's Ock was better then Dafoe's Goblin - the sequel was better than the first movie. But Iron Man was a better flick than either one.
Blade never gets any respect, but still not better than Iron Man.
Not a Marvel movie, but was out during the summer and the question of 'which one was better' often comes up, Iron Man was also a better movie than The Dark Knight.

Duh, it was a Raimi musical. If only there were more finger-snapping. lol

Tobey who? I think it could've just ended it with Spidey 2 and I would've been happy with that. Decades from now, I'm sure there's gonna be another revamp of whatever we're getting now. IMO, I'm okay with it, but Spidey is just gonna be like Batman and Supes. Soon enough there'll be another reset button.
....and Incredible Hulk was OKAY at best.

Yes it is. I couldn't watch 'Begins in the same repeat value after seeing DKR.
And to anyone who got the IM 2-disc DVD, On disc 2, I enjoyed the Invincible IM featurette. I learned something new with Gary Colan and Ellis gets interviewed!!! OMG! And Downey's audition tape could be summed up in one word: DAMN.
Okay, I'll shut up now, but yes, MUST HAVE.

Yup. It's a better made movie than Incredible. But Incredible is a better Hulk movie. If that makes sense. I was surprised how much I enjoyed Incredible. I just prefer the first. And I definitely prefer Jennifer over Liv.
Adam Strange Planet Heist is my favorite P. Ferry art. Everything I've seen after just doesn't excite me as much.

Iron Man is a GREAT comic book movie.
The latest Hulk movie is a better movie in my opinion.
The Dark Knight is the GREATEST comic book movie. That's just a fact.
Spider-Man 2 was the standard. It's been surpassed.

Thanks Peter. I think Spidey 1 is the best, if for no other reason than it was the first Marvel movie that made me as excited as I felt first discovering comics. But Iron Man is LEGIT. I would put it tied for 3rd with X-Men [I'm an X-Man nut] with Dark Knight at #2.

Spidey 1 was the first of the big time comic book movies to me. I know there was X-Men and Blade before it but Spider-man really showed the origin the best of all comic movies and the fight scene at the end with the Green Goblin was sweet. Well, except for the "You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!" line, that was terrible. It was also the only one of these movies that I went to the theater and watched more than once. For those reasons, it's #1 for me still. I like X-Men a lot, and the Dark Knight was awesome (although they should have stopped with Two-Face in the hospital IMO), but Spidey is #1 to me, with those two and Iron man closely behind.

The first Spidey movie was special because it hit all the iconic notes properly in all the right places (well, aside from the incredibly terrible conversation in the hospital between MJ and Peter... the acting in that scene is dire), and because after all that legal wrangling holding it up for years, it finally became a reality, and looked quite good in the process.
Spidey 2, awesomeness of J.K. Simmons and Alfred Molina and aside, just doesn't hold up as well for me, and I find I like it less with each viewing. If anything, Peter is *too* downtrodden, even by Spider-Man standards, and MJ far too whiny. And I hate the scene with the people on the train. Can we call for a moratorium on Christ metaphors in superhero movies already?
But Iron Man... yeah, the first Spider-Man may be more iconic, but Iron Man was flat out more entertaining for me. Better movie? Maybe... depends on my mood. More fun? Yeah.
And I liked Incredible Hulk. Wasn't blown away by it, but it was a pretty good night at the movies. It'd make the perfect B picture to Iron Man in a double feature, that's for sure (and for more than just the obvious connections).
