Here are some bits from a Rude interview that appeared in the Summer 2007 issue of Rough Stuff:
Bob McLeod: You recently drew some Captain America for Marvel, right? How was that experience?
Rude: Other than hating the editor, it was fun.
McLeod: ...what qualities make a good editor in your view?
Rude: ...I would love to work with an editor who can teach me things, assuming we naturally think along the same lines of what makes a good book, but for that you need a person with actual wisdom. It seems to be a rare commodity these days.
I read this and all I could think of was the scene Uncommon Valor where Gene Hackman's team of Vietnam vets blow the bridge at the prison camp.
